LottoExpress Exposed — It’s Not All in the Terms and Conditions

LottoExpress Exposed

LottoExpress Review

Thanks to a posting on “Submit Lottery Agents for Review”, the team took a look at LottoExpress.com this last week. At first glance, it looked like a pretty solid platform offering international lotteries online. It was time to look deeper. Is this site as good as it looks?

Games at LottoExpress

This online lottery provider offers 12 international lotteries plus four combo plays. The international lotteries include the usual US and European games, plus Canada’s 649 and three Australian lotteries Lotto 6/45, Oz, and Powerball. Take a good look at what is offered for any games you decide to play. Some of the lotteries offered by LottoExpress.com can be played with one ticket for one draw versus some the minimum is four draws. There are no syndicates offered here.

Lotto Express and Combo Plays

There are four different combination plays that are offered. Euro Pass has one ticket, each of EuroMillions and EuroJackpot. American Dream includes US Powerball and Mega Millions. The Irish American includes 2 of each of the US mega draws plus two ticket lines for Irish Lotto 6/47. Australian Outback Special includes one ticket for each of the 3 Aussie lotteries advertised. Players must play a minimum of 2 draws for each combo and can choose multi-draw combinations of 4, 8, and 12. There is also the option to play more tickets in combinations of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 ticket lines.

Claiming Your Winnings at LottoExpress

LottoExpress says they do not charge any commission or fees, but there is no other information on how quickly they get you your winnings. Interestingly, they do seem to offer the option of either a lump sum or annual winnings depending on the lottery though the only place this is mentioned is in the FAQ.

LottoExpress’s Terms and Conditions

That was one of the issues that the team had with this site. The Terms and Conditions are pretty light on and it took reading the FAQ to answer a few of our questions. There is no information on how a player opts out of playing here except a £5 charge a month on any inactive account for six months until it either runs out of money or is reactivated. LottoExpress.com also talks about withdrawals being limited “to the sums set out in the Payment Details Table on the Banking Page”. Okay, where’s the Banking Page? It’s not in the Terms and Conditions. We asked the question and they came back with it’s your banking rules and regulations. Sorry, I have a problem with that.

Who Can Win at LottoExpress.com?

Besides the usual of having to be 18 years or older, LottoExpress lists a bunch of other countries that “prohibit” them from offering their services to residents in Afghanistan, Canada, China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Georgia, Guinea-Bissau, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Palau, Somalia, Switzerland, and the US. Keep in mind this refers to “residents” and if you are the nationality of any of these, but are resident somewhere else – you can play. We asked! The other interesting little twist in the T&C is that LottoExpress.com will not process any ticket purchases for a lottery where the player resides.

Getting in Touch

LottoExpress offers a list of toll-free numbers plus one international in the Netherlands though these folks are registered and operate out of the Isle of Man. International Multi-Media Entertainments Limited owns and operates lottoexpress.com under the Online Gambling Regulation Act 2001 regulated by the Gambling Supervision Commission. There is an online form and a snail mail address. The email address contact was in the T&C. Live Chat is available during Netherlands business hours Monday to Friday.

Is LottoExpress Legit?

Overall, this site looks pretty good though we’d be a lot more confident with a more informative Terms & Conditions and I’d want to see the Banking Page before going any further. I would also like to have the option to play syndicates – but that’s personal.

This site gets a begrudging thumbs up. Definitely, it would be stronger if they added to the Terms and Conditions besides all the disclaimers and what the operators are not responsible for. If you do play here, let us know how you are doing! We need that feedback.

  1. Do not use this company not licensed so you have no guarantee that you will get paid but they will be keen to take your money. Also use telesales to call people which is an unregulated sector. If you want to play international lotteries use lottoland, lottogo, lottomart etc. These companies are licensed and have to separate client funds, similar to banks, lawyers etc. This company is mainly going after older people so go on Facebook etc and ask friends to share to stay away from this company. Also trades as lottery centre…..

  2. Avoid like the plague.

  3. My mother has had 1900 pounds taken out of her bank in 3 weeks and another phone call yesterday wanting another 800 pounds. She has gone over drawn and is unable to pay her bills or carers.

  4. My mother has received calls from Lotto Express pressuring her to play more lottery than she can afford (my mum is in her 70s) The bullying phone call my mum received this morning was the final straw and I put my foot down and demanded the name/contact details of this company… I’d been asking my mum for the name and contact details of this company for months until she finally, reluctantly gave me the name so I could Google search them…. what I’ve found so far is they have multiple names, three addresses one in Cyprus which according to scamadvisor website is a bad sign and of course, they have an address in the Isle of Man (a tax haven for criminals and elites alike)

My mum was on the phone this afternoon for over 40 minutes to one person from this company that was practically BULLYING her to buy more lotto draws, but finances are in such a state that even bullying her won’t work and she’s too polite to just hang up….. I’ve looked at the Facebook page for this company and it’s the most scammy BS I’ve ever seen……. I think my mum has reached that age where she’s vulnerable to these predators and she’s too proud to admit it.

They will not listen when they want to use your money..
You tell them to put your money into your account… and they don’t
