  1. Wish I read the reviews first! I thought I would be legit, I mean I play scratch offs and do pretty good I guess, but when I tried the app, at first I couldn’t do wrong, every new game I played, paid me, I was having fun, then when I reached 150 balance, it happened, not another win over 50 cents or at dollar, no more 30 or 40 wins again, ever, and like others say, if you put twenty on there, it will 50cent, dollar two dollars, but no good wins, and it will drag u down to the last penny. Sad Ky lottery is such a scam and a rip off, let’s go Brandon f.j.b.

  2. The app glitches out more than it doesn’t. The most frustrating part is when your in the middle of a game sometimes 7 or 8 times. Make sure you pay attention to how much money your account has when it starts glitching out because a few times I’ve been in the middle of a game and I’ll refresh the website or close the app and my balance be short whatever the amount of the game I was playing and have to repay for the game. Actually winning is hard to do. Especially once you’ve cashed out. Then you’ll hit a losing streak. You’ll lose five the amount you cashed out before you win again.

  3. I am telling you now that the Kentucky lottery is a huge scam. They prey on lower income families and don’t give a rat’s ass. Sure they say that they donate to schools, but that’s just grants that the government doesn’t have to provide, and written off so in all they aren’t doing shit for anyone but taking their money. It’s very sad

  4. I just won $225.00 on wild 8s. They deposited my money within 3 days

  5. First off this is a rant, Sum say it’s karma or whatever for playing but I have played for a little over a year in that time yes I have won several times several hundred at times once u win 250 it takes all that to get back up to $50 so they gotcha. I have tried emailing them but it has gotten to be such a scam and it’s obvious sux to be addicted especially with this inflation and stuff going on but I have officially stopped I will never spend another $1 on Instant play games don’t waste your money..

  6. Do not play any of the Instant Play games on the Ky lottery app!!!
    They suck Big time,
Doesn’t matter how much you bet or how often you play, they won’t let you win anything other than just a couple bucks more than you bet!!!
Trust me, I’ve played it over and over and they got this new instant vacation emoji game that’s even worse than the original one!
Save your money or if you must gamble, go to bingo or casino. The Ky lottery are snakes like the rest of them and have no serious wins EVER!
It really is terrible even new games suck so badly.
Shame on the greedy pigs at the Kentucky lottery, won’t have my money added to your Rip off app anymore!
Oh, may I add you dirty maggots!

  7. Horrible odds of winning any games online or printouts. Way too many people hit multiple jackpots by the same players over and over again. The lottery lets the stores give the people behind the counter permission to give the tickets that they just bought. They tell their friends about how many they just bought or they allow them to crowd around the tickets for multiple hours at a time. I would not waste your money on these crooks. Sad that no one at the KY lottery stands up against these things.

  8. I play religiously and don’t know why gluten for punishment I guess the Kentucky lottery is awful they should be ashamed, I don’t expect to win big but geeezzz man at least hit a payback ticket once in a while, the new money ticket is the worst, supposedly loaded with 50 and 100 dollar winners I have literally play well over 700 dollars since they came out and have NOT even hit a 20 dollar payback that’s totally unacceptable, the ky lottery definitely needs to step it up a lot…

  9. I don’t know what happened to the instant online games but no one is hitting any jackpots. All it shows is people who won $1 lol, $2 for hours no one has won anything more than $45 just go log in and look at recent winners, it’s crazy. This just started today!

  10. Every time I open my app to check the lottery and the news it always says Florida Texas Missouri Michigan or somewhere other than Kentucky is always someone by a million dollar tickets but I have never seen it in Kentucky Kentucky is a rip off it is rigged some way or another for nobody in Kentucky to ever win the million dollar prizes

  11. Was wondering why they took the ice cream sundae game off and if they were going to put it back on thank you sincerely Dona Tomas

  12. I have purchased the gold fish scratch off and they are always losers. I think that Kentucky has the worst odds of winning tickets and even their Powerball and Mega Millions tickets number are crap, sure maybe a few times a year they have a million dollars winner but for the most part, they are worthless.

  13. Ripoff lottery. I joined the online lottery with a $20 deposit. Tried to play but was told I was not in KY and illegal to play. Been in KY for 8 years. Ask for a refund because I can’t play, was told it is in process. That was 2 years ago. At least 12 additional requests for refund, and told it is in process. Do not use this service.

  14. This game is a RIP off Kentucky lottery you all are making a killing off us poor people. I won 200 but that doesn’t even come close to what I have spent.. You all would get more customers to join if you all give people a chance at winning at least give us our money back on the games.. The games are really fun but I have realized I am throwing my money away..

  15. The computer is smarter than the player. Don’t throw your money away.

  16. I play online instant play. I have won some big amounts, however these totaled together are nowhere near what I have spent. I have noticed when playing if I win over $100, and keep playing, there are no more wins until that amount is gone. It’s best to withdrawal the large wins to keep from losing it. Even when changing games and play amounts, not even a $1.00 win until the original win is gone! I feel the online app is set up to take all the win back if it’s not withdrawn. I don’t feel that the online games are 100% fair, I have won $100, several times, but I always lost it right back, usually within an hour. I always withdrawal over $150 though, they don’t get that back!

  17. I buy Keno frequently on the app and in stores I have now on multiple occasions check the numbers when I bought tickets on the app and I should have won but the tickets that I didn’t when I contacted the Kentucky lottery they acted like it never happens and it wasn’t a big deal how many times did I win and didn’t get paid for it? Have I ever won big and they didn’t pay me? And what about the other people that play how many millions have they stole from their customers? also you can put money in with ease any kind of debit card credit card whatever but when it comes to withdrawing it’s tricky you have to put in a bank account and it’ll just disappear out of nowhere and you’ll have to add it back and you’ll have to contact the middleman I guess you call them to get the money and it takes 5 to 10 days they say but it took me about 3 weeks to get a bank account added because it kept giving me some error message and nobody could figure it out on either side. I think if you are able to put in money with a debit or credit card you should be able to get money off direct debit to your debit or credit card unless maybe if it’s a big amount.

  18. There is one game I was playing that I got to where I could guess what my roll was before ever rolling it. It’s set up to take your money and that is it. Stuck with the real lottery

KY Lottery Exposed — Solid, Authentic and Somewhat Fun

KY Lottery Review

US lotteries and companies have been notoriously slow in terms of adopting online ticket buying options. Luckily, this has started to change. Various official online lottery agencies have been launched, and while their scope isn’t international, this is still a good start.

Today, we will talk about the Kentucky Lottery (KY Lottery) and its online portal for ticket buying. The lottery in Kentucky dates back to 1989, and the state has a couple of interesting local choices for players to choose among (on top of the national Powerball and Mega Millions).

Kentucky Lottery Online, as the name suggests, is a web-based platform.

It allows players to buy tickets for the Kentucky draw games online. Also, there are a couple of special developments that are exclusively web-based. Today, we will examine all of these opportunities to conclude whether the Kentucky Lottery app for online ticket buying is worth giving a try.

Games at Kentucky Lottery Online

If you’re wondering where to buy Kentucky Lottery tickets, we have the answer for you. One of the options is visiting a local authorized retail agent. Alternatively, you can sign up for Kentucky Lottery Online.

Kentucky Lottery Online allows players to buy tickets for five draw-style games that are locally available in the state. These games include Keno, Lucky for Life, Cash Ball 225, Mega Millions, and Powerball.

If you’re familiar with Kentucky games, you probably notice that some popular lotteries are missing from the list. These include the Kentucky Lottery Pick 4, KY Lottery Pick 3, CashBall, and 5 Card Cash. At the time being, these games have not been added to Kentucky Lottery Online, and you can only buy tickets by visiting a local agent.

The best aspect of choosing Kentucky Lottery Online is that it’s an official state app. As such, it charges the same amount as an agent would for the purchase of a ticket. A Lucky for Life ticket bought in Kentucky will cost you two dollars. If you use Kentucky Lottery Online to buy your ticket, you will once again have to spend only two dollars on the purchase.

Apart from the local draw-style games, the online Kentucky Lottery app also features instant games. These are exclusive and only available for online play.

The selection is quite extensive. The online games vary from classics like Wheel of Fortune to scratch-off games and bingo-style possibilities.

Looking at the cost, it varies from 0.5 dollars per play to 20 dollars for the most expensive online games. As far as payouts are concerned, the top prizes also vary. These come in the range from 10,000 to 300,000 dollars.

Wheel of Fortune is one of the exclusive online games that have prizes ranging up to 300,000 dollars. You can spend anywhere between one and 20 dollars on your wager. Through multipliers, you can win your wager increased by a certain amount up to 300,000 dollars.

All of the online games have a free demo you can use to test out the game without spending any money on it. If you like the online game, you can register for Kentucky Lottery Online, fund your account and start playing.

Getting Your Winnings with KY Lottery

Whether you win the Kentucky Lottery Keno or a KY Powerball prize, the method for cashing out your prize is going to be the same.

The iLottery that Kentucky has put together credits prizes of up to $600 automatically to the account of the player. The money can either be cashed out or used to fund the purchase of new tickets.

For prizes in the 600 to the 49,999-dollar range, there is an online claim procedure that players have to follow. The specific steps are outlined on the official Kentucky Lottery iLottery website. Alternatively, a player in Kentucky can go to KLC regional offices or the KLC headquarters to claim the respective amount.

Prizes between 50,000 and 100,000 dollars are only available for personal claims in the KLC regional offices or the lottery’s headquarters. Finally, prizes that exceed 100,000 dollars are only claimed personally at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters.

If you’re wondering where the Kentucky Lottery headquarters is, we have the answer for you once again. To claim a prize, you will have to go to Louisville’s Portland neighborhood.

Who Can Play at Kentucky Lottery Online
Since you’ve already seen the prize claim procedures, you’ve probably gathered already that the online platform is only available in Kentucky.

To purchase tickets and play online via the Kentucky Lottery app, an individual needs to be aged 18 or older. There’s also a requirement for the creation of a Fun Club online account (more about the Fun Club in the next sections of the review).

The identity of players is always verified before they can deposit money in the account and start buying tickets. For the verification to be successful, the applicant should have a valid Kentucky address, and they also need to be physically located in Kentucky at the time of the ticket purchase.

Who Is behind Kentucky Lottery Online?

The official Kentucky Lottery runs the iLottery.

The entity is state-run, and it follows local regulations for the organization of games of luck and the distribution of prizes. The current portfolio of state games includes Pick 3, Pick 4, Cash Ball, 5 Card Cash, Lucky for Life, Mega Millions, and Powerball.

Scratch off tickets are also available locally, and as of lately, they’ve also become accessible in the digital realm through the Kentucky Lottery app.

Kentucky Lottery Online is legitimate and safe. There are strict regulations in place, and you don’t have to worry about spending your money on a scam.

Other Bits and Pieces

We mentioned Fun Club as one of the prerequisites for creating a Kentucky Lottery Online account, but what exactly is Fun Club?

The Fun Club is an exclusive online offering that enables the purchase of lottery tickets and also gives players access to several other perks. It’s free of charge to join – you will only need to verify your age, identity, and address.

Fun Club gives players access to second-chance promotions, exclusive lottery games, and information about winning tickets (you can quickly check your ticket online to find out if you’ve won anything). Besides, Fun Club members will receive email information like winning numbers, discount coupons, and special events.

Other than that, Kentucky Lottery Online does offer some periodic perks and bonuses. Right now, if you deposit 30 dollars into your new account, you will get a signup bonus of 10 dollars. Check back with Kentucky Lottery Online every once in a while to see whether other special offers have become available.

The lottery in Kentucky is easy to play online. Both the website and the app have a clean, user-friendly design. There’s also a section that lists the names of the latest winners and tells you which of the bigger prizes have already been claimed.

The Bottom Line at KY Lottery

KY Lottery’s online platform is the right choice if you don’t feel like going to a retail agent every time you want to get a lottery ticket. Also, it allows the participation in exclusive digital lotteries. If this is your thing, you’ll undoubtedly be happy with the online platform.

Before ending the review, we’d like to summarize some of the most significant Kentucky Lottery Online advantages:

Run and operated by an official state entity

There is both an online platform and a mobile app you can use to buy tickets

The cost of tickets played online, and offline is the same

There’s an excellent selection of exclusive online games you can play to win some cash

Online games have a free demo version for players to test out

Exclusive bonuses and perks are available every once in a while

The prize claim procedure is pretty easy to go through and straightforward

The platform has email and text message notifications, alerts and discount coupons

All of this is great, but we’ll still have to consider the negatives:

Not all of the lotteries that are available in Kentucky are accessible for online play

You need to have a Kentucky address, and you physically need to be in Kentucky to play

To claim more massive prizes, you will have to go to the Kentucky Lottery regional offices or headquarters

Who can guarantee the fairness of digital games?

Kentucky Lottery Online is an excellent platform, and if you’re a native of the state, you can benefit from it. Everybody else – tough luck. At the time, being there isn’t an opportunity for the acquisition of Kentucky state lottery tickets from another country.
