LotteryMaster Exposed — Let’s Listen to the Players!

LotteryMaster.com

LotteryMaster Review

LotteryMaster.com doesn’t claim to be anything more than an agent to purchase lottery tickets worldwide on your behalf. The site is very straightforward and very easy to find information. Registration is quick and easy and only requires your name, email address, and phone number. It also provides a ‘Terms and Conditions’ which sets out the legal responsibilities of both them and you, the user.

Is TheLotter legit worldwide?

How Does LotteryMaster Work?

LotteryMaster.com has agents all over the world to buy your lottery ticket for you. Just pick the game you want to play, chose your numbers, and they purchase your ticket, scan it for you and send it. If you win, they collect your money and place it into your Lottery Master Account. You receive an SMS and email notice of your winnings. If you win a jackpot (the big one), they will arrange to give you the winning ticket so you can personally (and locally) claim your first prize.

To access the game you want to play at LotteryMaster.com, click on “Play” at the top of the screen and the window opens up listing all the current games available, the Jackpot amount up for grabs, and a countdown clock for the next draw. You can play SuperEnalotto (Italy), EuroMillions (Euro), EuroMillions (UK), Mega Millions (US), UK National Lottery (UK), PowerBall (US), New York Lottery (US), La Primitiva (Spain), EuroJackpot (Euro), El Gordo, La Primitiva (Spain) and Loteria Nacional (Spain). Hey, guess they don’t have any agents in Canada eh. They also seem to offer some special seasonal draws.

Now here is where they start to lose me. LotteryMaster.com officially charges over 200% of the fee for providing the service. Sorry, for online lotteries – that’s expensive. They do give a discount when you get to purchase your tickets, but why bother? Why not just make that the price (and it is still expensive)?

Getting Your Money

LotteryMaster.com says they will transfer your money to your account. They take a 10% commission on winnings of USD 1,000,000 and higher.

Their Lottery Bonus and Lottery Loyalty Club offers 33 VIP points for every USD 1 played to win gifts and their ‘Free Lottery Promotions’ made me a little nervous. LotteryMaster.com provides a special discount for the first 100 tickets purchased that day. When does their day start? I wondered if you have to sit in line watching the clock to click on the appropriate time to get the discount!

Bells and Whistles at LotteryMaster

The support page at LotteryMaster.com has an FAQ list, or you can click on it to chat. I’m not sure when ‘chat’ is available as they do say ‘when they are offline log on with your User Name and email your question to Customer Support.  They also offer a ‘Dictionary’ to learn the latest Lottery Terminology.

LotteryMaster.com Complaints

Going through a bunch of sites, there are no complaints, and for once I think I believe it. It’s a straightforward agency-style representative that facilitates purchasing lottery tickets. LotteryMaster.com charge a lot for this service. All the websites that do reviews agreed that these guys are for real and went so far as to downgrade them in only one area – their promotions.

Is Lottery Master Legit?

LotteryMaster.com seems to be a real site that offers a service for players to play lottery games on the site, though everyone’s recommended to read the visitors’ comments below this review because we’ve got a lot of complaints.

Our team doesn’t give LotteryMaster.com a thumbs up or a thumbs down as we haven’t got the complaints about a while, but still not sure how to evaluate it.

  1. Lottery Master must have the most incompetent IT team available. When the tickets dont show it is because of upgrades to the system. When I attempt to call, there is no answer. When I tried to chat nobody is online. The only time they are efficient is when they are calling to ask for $$$.

  2. I registered on Lotterymaster.com 2 months ago. I did not check the various comments on them before. I bought few personal tickets and got all tickets to my account. Therefore, I trust them.
Then I got a call from their sales VIP team and they gave me special package, which I did a subscription to. I am happy with their service and know they are professional.

  3. I lodged a 2 box single game for a cost of $13.00 and they charged me for a 52 entry form at over $500.00. Tried to call but you cannot get onto customer support I think it is just a title. Emailed them 3 times and no response. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS!!!

  4. Lotterymaster.com is no longer hosted by Amazon. The new host is “Server Block” in Germany.

The Amazon abuse team has finished their investigation, but has revealed no details. However, the result is evident. Lotterymaster.com had to find a new host.

  5. Dear Vince R. ( who are you ? )

Someone at lotterymaster.com tried to call me this afternoon. I will not discuss any business with you on the phone, though I always record phone conversations with unknown persons. Kindly reply to me in writing, you are well aware of my e-mail.

Let´s pretend for a while, that the owners and the management of Lotterymaster.com really intend to run a legitimate and safe business.

This illusion does raise certain questions. The questions needs a public answer:

Why can´t customers cancel their account? Why can´t a customer stop packages or subscriptions? Why can´t a customer, as a last defense, delete his credit card information?

Why are many tickets not scanned and linked to the account of the customer, who has bought the ticket?

Why are tickets not scanned, and linked to the account of the customer, until after the lottery draw has taken place?

Assuming that the owners and the top management of Lotterymaster.com believe their business to be safe and legitimate, how are the control and revision of the actual doings of the employees carried out?

There are just too many ways that the customers can be deceived by Lotterymaster.com or one of their employees.

The most obvious ways are known as “parallel gambling”, where the agent doesn´t buy the ticket and is gambling on the customer to loose. Considering the odds in most lottery´s, it is a rather safe bet. But is does have certain implications, in the unlikely event of a mayor win.

Another possible way of deceiving the customers is to buy a series of tickets to a certain lottery, and assign the loosing tickets to the customer accounts, after the lottery draw has taken place. It is possible, when tickets are bought on behalf of alleged subscriptions or packages. This was certainly what happened at the El Gordo Christmas Lottery 2013. I bought a full ticket, but the ticket number wasn´t assigned to my account, until December 23trd, one day after the lottery draw. This kind of fraud allows Lotterymaster.com or their employees to pick the winning tickets, and assign the loosing tickets to their clients. I can´t prove this, without access to the Lotterymaster.com database event log, so I have not bothered to raise the claim. There was however a nice price of 100.000 Euros, drawn to a number very close to the number, that finally was assigned to my account December 23trd, and the number was likely to be within the number series purchased by Lotterymater.com. I can´t claim to be the winner, but Lotterymaster.com certainly denied me the possibility.

Yet another possible fraud is, to buy the ticket, on behalf of the customer, but in the unlikely case of a mayor win, claim, that the ticket, by some mistake, unfortunately wasn´t purchased. The merry winners are, the owners of, or employees at, Lotterymaster.com.

There are so many ways, that crooks can deceive their clients. This is exactly the reason why, lottery agents must have responsible owners, with substantial reserves. It is also the reason, why customers must be in full control of all payments and credit card information.

The owners of Lotterymaster.com are a 1500 Euro liability, and otherwise empty, Maltese shadow company called “Safe Global Payments LTD.” This design implicates, that the owners are very keen to protect themselves against the risks involved with online fraud.

You still haven´t answered my questions of yesterday.

    Regards
    Sven
