ScratchMania Exposed — Will ScratchMania Scratch that Itch to Play?

ScratchMania Review

Clicking on to the site, the first thing is how busy, busy, busy it is. Yes congratulations to David B. for traveling the whole world, and yes I do see your pop up for “Give it a Spin, Get a Free Game” but enough already. The team wanted to take a look at what this scratch site had to offer, but bells and whistles kept going off. Windows pop up – yes it was fun playing a few games for free – but then another annoying window insisted we register for an account. Not quite yet. We need more information.

Games at Scratchmania

I’m not sure what my favorite scratch game would be out of the selection offered. This is an online site that provides scratches. Scratches are games that players scratch the spots to see if they have won – though in this case, it is clicking versus manual scratching. It’s an instant win or lose. There are about 25 games to play, though without registering, it’s hard to be sure. Dragon’s Treasure and Chance’s Adventure look fun. The team got into a great argument on which name was most inventive. Zombie Apocalypse won! But is that a good enough reason to register an account and play.

Beware the Bonus

This is one of those times that understanding the small print is pretty important. If you sign up and start playing with the 100% bonus, players cannot withdraw their winnings until they play an amount equivalent to 30 times the original deposit. So, if you deposit say $100 real money and get $100 bonus money, you can’t take your winnings out until you’ve played $3,000. We did clarify (thanks to the live chat) that this can be both the original amount and winnings, but you have to bet a total of $3,000 before withdrawing any money. This bonus feature can be removed so play starts with the original deposit only – and then money can be withdrawn at any time. But do it before you start to play.

Scratchmania’s VIP Club

Another aspect of’s play is their VIP club. Players accrue one VIP point for each 10 ‘units of currency.’ Keep in mind; players forfeit their VIP points if they do not deposit to their account for 14 weeks. Money claimed through VIP points are treated the same as the initial bonus with the same rules and regulations.

Back to Winning at Scratch Mania

There is one additional threshold restriction on withdrawing winnings – if you do hit it big. They limit the maximum withdrawal to USD 20,000 per month. They continue to pay out each month until the winnings are fully paid. Okay, $20,000 per month sounds pretty good at the same time – it’s your money right.

Who Can Play at

Almost anyone can play here except residents of the USA, Israel, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Iraq, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Iran. There are also some restrictions on bonuses per household.

Who Is Scratchmania?

Scratchmania is operated by a Cyprus company called Donateu, Ltd. They are part of what looks like a bigger group called NetoPartners, which offers affiliate partnerships. There is no snail mail address or phone number. There is live chat though not 24/7 and when it isn’t open players can leave a message. There is also Call Back where players can leave a number to speak directly to an operator. There is also an online form but no direct email address.

The Bottom Line at

I’m still getting my head around electronically playing scratches. Call me old fashion, but I think I think scratches should mean pulling a coin (some countries still use them) and manually scratching each spot. Then again, there is no question we had fun playing the free game offered – until the registration window popped up.

Busy, Busy, Busy Site

This site does get a reserved thumbs up. It is fun, and I could see getting hooked on playing it. The only problem is the whole bonus thing offered. That’s the ‘reserved’ part.
