RSL Art Union Lottery Exposed — Apartments, Gold Bullion and Other Things

RSL Art Union Lottery Exposed

RSL Art Union Review

The clock is ticking on getting in on the RSL Art Union Lottery. This is one of those delightful raffles that gives you a chance to win some amazing prizes. It was set up to help veterans in Australia. Players get a chance to win apartments, apartment complexes, and gold bullion. There are a bunch of draws each year and get in on the VIP club and you can make sure you don’t miss one draw. The clock is ticking though if you want to get into the VIP stuff.

The Game at RSLArtUnion.com.au

Want to win not one, not two, but three apartments in Australia plus AUD 2,000 to take that flight to get your prize? RSL Art Union’s 1st prize includes that plus enough additional money to pay your taxes for the first year. There is also a 2nd prize of gold to the tune of $10,000 and the 3rd prize of $5,000. Tickets start at $5 though bundling is available with 8/$30, 13/$50, and 19/$75. Several draws occur each year,, however, the odds are not that great compared to some of the other lotteries/raffles sold internationally to support charities. In RSLArtUnion.com.au’s latest raffles, there are 2,340,000 tickets available.

Is RSLArtUnion.com.au Legit?

The concept of helping a good cause and potentially getting to win property in Australia is nice. Okay, I’d settle for the 2nd prize of the gold bullion, but the only way I’m going to get a chance to win is to play. The VIP Club means you don’t have to check on when the next draw is and are automatically entered.

This lottery gets a thumb’s up though it would be nice if the number of raffle tickets for each draw was more limited. Then again, ultimately this is to help veterans.

  1. I am now concerned about all the negative reviews coming up. I have been a member for many years and never won a prize. I have noticed the same duplex going for a prize twice. In the pats. Can you tell me how the tickets are generated and how a winner is picked please? Plus why is the RSL lottery not addressing such negative concerns on the reviews on your site?!

  2. Wow, I dodged a bullet. After reading over 100 bad reviews I am grateful that my bank details were incorrect and they were declined payment. I genuinely wanted to do a good deed and didn’t even want a house, (cant maintain the rates on a mansion). (Or wash that many windows). Just have PTSD myself and felt sorry for the returned soldiers. I did get some great advice for overcoming PTSD from a website about how soldiers cope though, and they do breathing exercises which do help me and also thinking about people who are worse off than you helps too. Which is easy in this day and age. Also, a great lesson I learned to deal with PTSD, is to Return To Sender. The guilt and shame belong to the other person, so send it back to them.

  3. I have been buying RSL Art Union Tickets for over 30 years. I even won a big prize of Gold Bullion once. They are not a scam and the proceeds go to support War Veterans and their families. I have however seen scam emails pretending to be from RSL Tickets and this is disturbing as many people could be conned. The easiest way to see if it is a scam email is to hold your cursor over the link to see where it is going to take you. I will always remain loyal to RSL Art Union tickets as they are a great cause with amazing prize homes.

  4. how can you advertise the gc home as being home when you share the driveway with a monolith block of units which would block residents trying to access the so called double garage of the prize home. how can’t the prize not be a scam? where is the RSL’S ethics?
a disillusioned buyer of tickets who has been scammed!

    • I am very unhappy with the fact that it takes EIGHT DAYS to actually draw the lottery! No other lottery takes this amount of time. I have been corresponding with an agent from RSL Lotteries and am dissatisfied with their responses so am forwarding my concerns to the QLD Office of Liquor and Gaming as well as A Current Affair

  5. I was approached by a soul-less salesman at my local food store. He made a compelling case for me to donate, and through my own negligence I did so. I was told and thought it was a once off donation, however was rather displeased as I saw another withdrawal from my account the next month.

Then ensued the bombardment of emails and phone calls. I did find it difficult to unsubscribe also.

Perhaps I neglected the fine print, however transparency about recurring payments is needed.

It may be legitimate or not, however I still do not think it is nearly worth it for the hassle. Charities should be transparent and genuine, none of which the RSL Art Union is.
