Mido Lotto Exposed — A Chance to Play Your Favorite Lotteries on the Phone (but Only if You’re Lucky!)
Mido Lotto Review
With 19.8K ratings in the App Store, Mido Lotto is worth checking out. What gets us even more excited is that the average rating the app receives across the thousands of reviews is 4.8 out of five stars.
Still, there are questions to answer before jumping on the Mido Lotto bandwagon.
Is Mido Lotto legit? How much does it cost? What features make the app better than the numerous competitors in existence?
Luckily, we can answer most of these questions. Mido Lotto has a fairly well-developed website and a decent presentation. We found lots of answers by checking these pages and downloading the app to give it a try.
What Is Mido Lotto and What Does It Do?
In a nutshell, Mido Lotto allows you to buy lottery tickets through your smartphone. In a sense, the app acts as a courier service. When relying on such assistance, you don’t need to be physically in the country where a favorite lottery is taking place.
The games that Mido Lotto gives you access to at the time being are Powerball, Mega Millions, and several state-specific draw-style games.
Now, here’s where things get to be a bit disappointing. You have to be in the US to download the app and give it a try. This can be a great thing for Americans but to an extent. Mido Lotto only works in the states where online ticket buying is legal. This means that the app pretty much does exactly what the official lottery organizer already offers. The reason is simple – states where online ticket buying is legal already have an official website to purchase tickets.
For everyone else who doesn’t live in these states, Mido Lotto doesn’t deliver. This is especially sad, given that numerous courier services are international and allow players from everywhere to get US lottery tickets (as long as online ticket buying is legal in the respective country).

How Much Does It Cost?
The app itself is available free of charge. To buy a ticket through it, you will need to spend the ticket costs plus a convenience fee. As per the official presentation, the convenience fee is location-dependent and subject to change.
For most users, the convenience fee is going to be 10 percent. This is a reasonable markup, especially because some courier services have a convenience fee of about 100 percent and even more.
The good news is that you can test out the app for free.
Currently, there’s a special offer you can claim by downloading the app. Any new user is entitled to a free ticket to test out the service. This is great news, given the intense competition in the field. By getting a single ticket for free, you can easily decide if Mido Lotto is trustworthy and if you’re going to continue utilizing the app in the future.
Keep in mind that Mido Lotto used to accept PayPal payments, but due to regulations, this has changed. To add funds to your account or buy tickets, you will need to link to a bank account now.
How Does Mido Lotto Work?
Most Mido Lotto reviews are positive, and they claim that the app works well. So, what exactly does it do?
Mido Lotto is an intermediary between the official lottery entity and the player. Instead of heading out to a local retail venue to get your ticket, you do that online through the app. Since you’re enjoying a remote service and someone has to buy the ticket on your behalf, you have to pay a commission (which we have already established as reasonable).
As per the official presentation, Mido Lotto doesn’t cut out winnings (the convenience fee is the only charge). Speaking of winnings, how do you claim a prize in the event of winning?
The Mido Lotto presentation states that prizes of up to 800 dollars will be deposited into your account. Once you have the money, you can decide if you’re going to make a withdrawal to your bank account or if you’ll use the funds to buy additional tickets.
For larger winnings, Mido Lotto promises to deliver the winning ticket to its owner. When that happens, the user will be free to go through the respective prize claim process in person.
Multiple reviews are stating that Mido Lotto is legit and that it indeed pays out prizes. This is why you don’t have to worry about receiving your money.
Mido Lotto Terms and Conditions
As always, we strongly recommend going through the terms and conditions before paying for a brand new service.
We did go through the document to summarize some of its most essential points. Still, you should be doing the reading yourself!
The Mido Lotto service is available in states where online ticket buying is legal. Also, you have to be an adult of 18 or older to buy tickets this way.
The availability of lotteries is specific to the user’s location. This means that you’ll see certain local games that a resident of another state will not have access to.
Mido Lotto is not affiliated with state lotteries, but rather, it acts as a third-party service provider. For that, the company receives a commission percentage each time you buy a ticket. The company reserves its right to change that fee upon necessity, and you agree to such changes by employing the service.
Who Is Behind Mido Lotto?
The company behind Mido Lotto is called Lottery Now Inc. This enterprise is registered in San Francisco, and its primary specialization is the provision of lottery-based games.
The company was set up in 2019, and it’s pretty easy to discover information about its owner. You can use a phone number and an email address to get in touch with the team. Luckily, most people who have used the app report being happy with customer service. Even those who weren’t satisfied with their experience got contacted by Mido Lotto. Some were offered bonuses and other perks to counter the negative interaction.
Information about the team members is also available on the Mido Lotto website if this is something you’d like to go through before giving the app a try.
As already mentioned, the app itself has predominantly positive reviews.
When it comes to complaints, there are a few. Some people have complained about slow customer service and never being mailed their winning tickets. To give credit where credit is due, all of these negative reviews have received an official response from the Mido Lotto customer support team. The disgruntled clients have been offered assistance, and we hope that all issues got resolved in the best possible way.
Why You Should Register With Mido Lotto
Mido Lotto is a friendly app
New users can claim a free ticket by visiting the Mido Lotto website
Why You Shouldn’t Register With Mido Lotto
If you don’t live in the US, you cannot count on Mido Lotto
The chance to buy tickets through it is also geographically restricted
If you live in a state where online ticket buying isn’t possible due to legislative restrictions, you’re in no luck.
It wouldn’t make sense for most people to pay a commission (no matter how minimal the percentage is) if they could hop over to the nearby convenience store and get their Powerball ticket. Also, many official lottery entities in the US already offer online ticket buying without an additional fee for utilizing such a service.
Is Mido Lotto Legit?
Yes, it is. The concept behind Mido Lotto is a good one. Most of us already “live” on the phone. We use it to interact with others, watch content, order food, and even do our jobs. It’s about time that we started using phones to play the lottery.
Because of many of its limitations, Mido Lotto gets a 5 out of 10 stars rating. Hopefully, the scope of the service will be expanded shortly, after which we’d be more than happy to review the app again and potentially change its score.
This app steals your wins. It said I won nothing when I got the Powerball number. The lottery site said that was a win. Emailed them and no one got back to me. Stole my win. Avoid this like the plague.
Not a bad idea to use this app if you’re avoiding the waste of fuel, waste of energy, avoid getting mug by thugs, avoid car accident, if you’re under medications, if you’re disabled, if you’re at your work during break time, if you don’t have car insurance or driver’s license. Thank you and keep this app up to date at all times so it’s easier for all of us who’s loves convenience and user friendly for all.

I enjoy the app I haven’t won over $4 yet hoping that changes
I sent a referral to a friend and when I sent the referral it said the referral bonus was 20.00 and after sending the referral they changed the bonus to 10.00 and now they aren’t honoring what was advertised also Fantasy 5 has a second chance code and Mido Lotto isn’t offering those codes, so is Mido lotto using the codes to get the second chance themselves from thousands of people… play $5or more on one ticket, you’ll get a Fantasy 5 – 2nd Chance code printed on your ticket no codes on tickets
– Mido Lotto provides a mediocre UI at best.
– Surcharges everywhere you turn.
– Does not allow direct purchasing of tickets, as money must first be transferred to a Mido Wallet account (this is where they skim money from users (in my opinion).
– Inconvenient–purchase cutoff times 2 hrs before store cutoffs
My experience with Mido has led me to believe that they’ve created an app that is geared toward skimming money from users through surcharges and impinging funds in their Mido Wallet scheme and then nickel and diming users under the guise of questionable convenience.
