ClubLoto Exposed — Might Be the Place for Betting on Lotteries

ClubLoto Exposed

ClubLotto Review

Figuring out what you can win at ClubLoto.com definitely takes some time reading the small print. Each of the lotteries this online lottery provider has its own different payouts. This is because it’s betting with virtual lottery tickets. They can set their own amounts for prize tiers. Want to know more? Let’s talk.

Games at ClubLoto.com

This betting service offers chances to win with EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, US Powerball, US Mega Millions and Germany’s Lotto 6/49. You can bet on one ticket or more per lottery though if you spend under €10 there is a €0.35 service charge. This does reverse once your cart goes over that amount. Subscriptions are available for 1, 2, 4, 8 and 52 weeks. Keep in mind that if you click subscription even for 1 week, this will automatically renew. There are no discounts for subscriptions.

Club Loto and Syndicates

There are two syndicates available Euro Combo and US Combo and in both they use their system. You have a choice of several ticket number combinations and then their system plays all the bonus balls. Euro Combo offers weekly 110 ticket lines of Euro Millions and 45 of Euro Jackpot with 88 shares. You must subscribe for a minimum of 4 weeks. There are discounts for subscriptions of 3 months (€5), 6 months (€15) and 12 months (€100). US Combi has weekly 30 Mega Millions ticket lines and 52 Powerball with 93 shares with the same subscription options. You can cancel subscription renewals but you cannot get out of what you have already committed to.

What Do You Win

If you are playing a lottery that offers an annuity option, that’s the one that ClubLoto.com will pay out. They will not option the lump sum. Getting into the nitty gritty, if there is one winner with ClubLoto.com and no winner with the real lottery, you get the jackpot amount. If there is one Club Loto winner and two real lottery winners then you get one-third the jackpot. If there are two ClubLoto.com winners and 1 real lottery winner, then you get half the jackpot. This goes for other prize tiers. But, definitely look at the different games as some of them have fixed amounts at different tiers. They don’t charge commission on winnings. There is a minimum of 100 currency units for any transfer.

Tax on US Lotteries

One of the things that could be attractive with betting versus playing lotteries online is if there was no tax payable for US lotteries. I mean they could do that. But the amount ClubLoto.com pays out still takes off the tax.

Ah, the Welcome Bonus at ClubLoto.com

For first time players, there is a 100% credit to your account if you don’t win anything the first time you play. Keep in mind, this can only be used for more tickets.

ClubLoto and Getting in Touch

ClubLoto.com has a Switzerland snail mail address and email address. They do respond within 24 hours. There is no telephone number, online form or live chat. They are owned by B2CC AG, which we could find no information on.

Who Can Play?

Players must 18 years of age and older and not a resident of Afghanistan, Cuba, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Israel, Myanmar, North Korea, Singapore, Turkey or the United States.

The Bottom Line at ClubLoto.com

Though customer service did a good turnaround in responding to our questions, I still don’t like the fact there isn’t a telephone number to call. The odds on their syndicates isn’t great and the team couldn’t agree on whether they like the system clublotto.com uses.

Pros:

No Commission

5 International Lotteries

24 Customer Service Turn Around

Cons:

Only Annuity Pay Out for US Lotteries

Share/Ticket Ratio for US Combi

No Telephone Number or Live Chat

ClubLoto.com gets a reserved thumbs up. The annuity limitation on US lotteries plus the fact they take tax off the top limits the benefits from betting versus a real ticket.

This Lottery Agent Is Closed

  1. I would have figured that as this is a betting lottery (versus buying tickets) they would have at least not taken the tax on US lotteries. Plus, they only pay out the US lotteries by annuity. I guess they don’t want to be pay the additional insurance money to go for a lump sum.
