LottoPlus Exposed — If All You’re Looking for Is a Syndicate to Play

LottoPlus Exposed

LottoPlus Review

Syndicates are great, especially when they are clear on the shares. Looking at LottoPlus.com, I thought we’d nailed a good one. They offer a heap of different individual syndicates plus some combinations for international lotteries. Don’t look for individual tickets here. This is an online syndicate lottery site. One combo deal includes a lottery for each day of the week. They don’t use a particular system but allow players to input their own ticket lines per share. Sounds pretty good, eh! So let’s talk.

Games at Lotto Plus

Players have the option of playing in a syndicate for EuroMillions UK, UK Lotto, UK Thunderball, Irish Lotto, EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, Germany’s Lotto 6aus49, Australia’s OZ Lotto and Powerball, US Powerball and US Mega Millions. Note both the UK EuroMillions and EuroMillions. The UK draw includes the £1 Million guaranteed draw and five of these on the last Friday of each month. I’m not sure how they handle the trip that is also included as part of the draw.

LottoPlus.com’s Combo Syndicates

Lotto Plus offers three combination syndicates. Lucky 7 Combo Syndicate includes 10 lines in each of French Lotto, OZ Lotto, US Powerball, SuperEnalotto, EuroMillions, Lotto 6aus49, and El Gordo each week. That works out to a lottery a day! Euro Combo Syndicate includes 10 lines of EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, Lotto 6aus49, and El Gordo, 9 lines of French Lotto, and 12 lines of SuperEnaLotto. UK Combo Syndicate includes 10 lines and raffles in the UK Lotto and EuroMillions UK, 10 lines in Irish Lotto, and 9 lines in UK Thunderball.

Who Shares in the Winnings?

In digging, there is an amount on each type of syndicate offered publishing the amount that each share of a syndicate would win if they nailed the mega jackpot. But, there is nowhere else LottoPlus.com publishes the actual shares in each syndicate. We asked the question and were told it ranges between 65 and 85 depending on the syndicate. Sorry folks, this should be part of the terms and conditions. It’s definitely an important part of the play.

Let’s Ask Questions

LottoPlus.com is great at getting back to the questions through their email address. There are also a telephone number, a UK snail mail address, and an online form. And there is live chat during UK business hours. They are registered as a UK company which is a bonus. Anyone can play as long as they are over the age of 18 though there is nothing specific on their website that references foreigners (non-UK residents).

When Do I Get My Money at Lotto Plus?

The Syndicate Manager is responsible for dividing up the winnings to shares. LottoPlus.com pays this into your account within 48 hours of receiving it from the specific lottery. They do not take a fee but do pay any taxes applicable, travel costs (no clarification on first class or economy and limits on the hotel – hello The Ritz) if they have to claim the winnings in person and any bank costs for the transfer to you.

The Bottom Line at LottoPlus.com

The team would feel a lot better if Lotto Plus clearly posted the number of shares. The range of syndicates is good and we definitely liked the combo syndicates.

Pros:

Lots of Syndicates

Good Syndicate Combo Packages

Good Customer Service Response

Cons:

How Many Shares in a Syndicate?

Do They Fly First Class or Economy Class to Get My Ticket

Lotto Plus mostly gets a thumbs up, though the team wouldn’t go so far as to register there to confirm that actual size of syndicates – for real. If you are playing there, it would be great to hear from you, especially how you’d done winning!

  1. Have not been able to access the site for several weeks. Have emailed asking them to stop taking money from my account and waiting to hear a reply. I would not recommend.

  2. Lotto plus Orpington GBR: had no reply, paid for syndicate tickets, but failed to email me back with results.

  3. I have cancelled they still keep taking money. The site remains unavailable.

  4. Be very careful, this site will take your money.
You will end up paying 20 pounds for the equivalent of about 2 tickets.
Your winnings are split between 85 others in your syndicate even if there isn’t another 85 in it.
    It’s a scam.

  5. Not a bad site, with the new combos Super Saturday and Lucky7 I play a lot of lines for a small price.
Okay, winnings are shared between the syndicate members but hey, who cares, I want to win the jackpot and if I do, I´ll still be a millionaire… even if I share.
