Cash 25 West Virginia Introduction

West Virginia Cash 25 is a game that’s been around for some time – it was first launched on February 9, 1990. The number format of 6 out of 25 has remained unchanged ever since the inception of the lottery.

With drawings held four times per week – on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Cash 25 is a crowd-pleaser. The odds of winning the jackpot are also wonderful, which is yet another reason for Cash 25’s popularity. Just to put things in perspective – Hot Lotto is another West Virginia lottery and it comes to the odds of winning the jackpot 1 in the 29 million range.

How to Play Cash 25?

Playing Cash 25 is a simple task that even kids can handle (but they shouldn’t since the age limit for lotteries in West Virginia is 18!). To attempt to win the jackpot, you have to choose 6 numbers from a pool of 25. Match all six numbers to the ones for the respective drawing and you’re one lucky, lucky person.

Each of the tickets comes with five panels – A through E. Playing just 1 panel will cost you a single dollar, but you can opt for a bigger number of lines.

Tickets can be bought every day and until 6:49 pm on the days of the drawing.

Prizes and Odds

Cash 25 in West Virginia comes with several distinct prize tiers. The highest award is the jackpot. If you get all 6 numbers correct and there are 10 winners or fewer, each person will win 25,000 dollars. The odds of that happening are 1 in 177,100. If there are more than 10 winners for the respective drawing, a sum of 250,000 dollars will be divided among those individuals.

41 in 69.04
31 in 9.14

People that get 5 correct numbers can expect a prize of 250 dollars. The odds of this happening are 1 in 1,553. The third prize tier features a prize of 10 dollars and odds of 1 in 69. Finally, the lowest prize tier is awarded for 3 correct numbers and the prize is 1 dollar. The odds of winning the lowest prize are 1 in 9.14.

As you can see, West Virginia Cash 25 doesn’t feature jackpots in the range of millions. People that are looking for the most impressive possibilities will definitely feel a bit disappointed and we do understand. However, the odds are too amazing to ignore Cash 25. With a single ticket costing only 1 dollar, the game is definitely worth giving a chance to.

Is Cash 25 your game? We don’t know. If you live in West Virginia, you should test it for yourself. True, the jackpot isn’t the most massive amount you could ever imagine. Odds of 1 in 177,100, however, are almost impossible to imagine. With such amazing odds of becoming 25,000 dollars richer, it would be a shame to completely ignore Cash 25.

  1. I play cash 25 regularly. I’ve hit 5 numbers twice. Pays $250.00 Would be cool and more exciting if 1 number short of the jackpot paid $1000 or more. All on all its a pretty good game with good odds.

  2. Been playing for almost 2 months and already hit 4 numbers out of 6 over 20 times and 5 out of 6 2 times. My advice check the past 10 winning numbers and find what is trending. Cause there is a pattern don’t be in the dark about what numbers tend to play together. Overall the best game I have played so far

  3. I think it is a rip off ..spend $16 a week …because I can ……at this time in my life …..I’ve been playing the same 4 sets of numbers every week for over a year and haven’t even hit 4 out of the 6 on any set. I’ve seen where up to 3 of the same numbers out of 6 will hit on 4 draws in a row. And then it change to a different set of 3 numbers on different draws for a whole week. Something’s not right with this game of chance.

  4. Can’t play this one on line. Shucks. Though the game isn’t a mega jackpot, it’s hard to ignore the incredible odds. I mean 6 out of 25 numbers to win really makes it amazing. I guess they don’t go for a rollover as the jackpot is won so often. But it’s only available from your local seller. If it ever does go online, I will be the first to buy a ticket.
