22Lottery Exposed — Will It Be Online in 20 Years?

22Lottery.com

22Lottery Review

At first glance, it’s hard to work through the information on the 22lottery.com site. It’s overly colorful with no master menu. It looks like it offers a $22 million jackpot with daily prizes of $500 – and all this for free. But it’s not until you get into the small print that you find out that the big jackpot isn’t for 22 years.

How Does 22Lottery Work

Subscribers select five numbers between 1 and 30 and provide their email addresses and other personal details. Upon clicking on the ‘accept the conditions,’ you agree to receive promotional material from 22Lottery.com as well as from third-party affiliates. The site also has a special bonus offers button, but it doesn’t work.

Winning at 22Lottery.com

Digging deeper, it’s only when you click on the ‘Rules’ tab that players realize that they will be participating in a sweepstake that takes place on the  31st of December 2032. This means you would need to wait almost 20 years to find out if you have won the grand prize! I wonder if these guys will still be in business.

22Lottery Complaints

We were unable to find any complaints concerning 22Lottery.com and don’t find that surprising. It’s hard to complain about something that doesn’t cost anything. At the same time, it is important to note that players are signing up to receive promotional material and other spam. Players provide their email addresses and other personal details which opens the window to potential identity theft and receiving thousands and thousands of emails from people advertising anything and everything.

So Who is 22Lottery?

22Lottery.com was inaugurated online in 2008. It is owned by NAME.COM LLC based in Cyprus. The only way to contact these guys is to submit their online forms. They say they will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours. The Help menu is simply a list of FAQs.

22lottery.com has links to five languages (French, German, Italian, British, and USA) though I can’t quite figure out why they have two English language pages. I could see no difference in the information provided on the two different links.

Is 22Lottery.com For Real?

This is basically a promotional site to get email addresses for promotional material. Besides the fact the jackpot for $22 million isn’t going to be drawn until 2032, there don’t appear to be any winners of the $500 daily prize.

What Else?

22Lottery.com’s name is deceiving in itself. At first glance, you would think that the site offers 22 lotteries worldwide (Irish Lotto, the National Lottery of Israel, or Oz Lotto for example), but later find out that it is only one lottery being played. Your entry is used for both the daily and main draw (yup – the one in 2032). 22Lottery.com does not offer information regarding how numbers are drawn (based on their own draw or on other international draws held across the world) but does mention that the winners will be determined on the last day of each month. This would mean that, although technically there would be 30 or 31 draws per month (presumably) the winners will only be notified at the end of the month. This makes a daily draw useless!

Is 22Lottery Legit?

If you’re willing to wait for 20 years to find out if you win and you don’t mind having your Inbox flooded with spam and other promotional material, then go ahead and play. I’m not going to. Without some sort of proof that there are actually daily winners, I don’t think this site is to be trusted. The big question is though, do you believe this site will still be around 20 years from now? My guess is definitely not!

We give this a thumbs down! I just don’t see any money here!

  1. Is 22Lottery still online? I’ve tried twice in the last week to login, and I didn’t succeed either time. No one responds whenever I try to contact them (at least, not so far, anyway).

I should note that, for a while I was keeping track of their results each day, so numbers were being drawn. But I was never sure if the numbers were for the $500 draw or the $22,000,000 draw. The last time I was able to play was in the summer of 2016.

  2. Lol, they provide their own lottery, but review the sites like PlayHugeLottos and TheLotter in the footer. Serious guys!

  3. It says if you win they pay you a million for the next 22 years for 22 million, not wait 22 years to get the money. And also December 31st 2032 is the last day to do this contest. So you definitely misread it big time, I am just wondering if it’s legit or not so I don’t waste my time submitting 5 numbers everday.

  4. I was wondering if this site was legit to. It sounds too good to be true, just match 5 numbers out of 30 and you win $22 million plus $500 daily. Texas lottery has something similar called Cash 5 but is 37 numbers and even if match it you only win the prize pool which can be anywhere from $10,000 to $30,000, but the fact that you can win $22 million from this is something else.
